How Sweet Treats – Ice Cream & Milkshakes Began
Sweet Treats – Ice Cream & Milkshakes began in 2022 with one simple mission: to bring families, friends, and the local community together through ice cream.
Founded by Asfand Sheikh, Sweet Treats wasn’t created as just another dessert shop—it was built as a way to connect with the community, spark joy, and create a place where memories could be made.
Ice cream felt like the perfect way to do that. It’s nostalgic, universal, and brings people together no matter the season.
So in 2022, without knowing where this journey would go, Asfand opened the very first Sweet Treats – Ice Cream & Milkshakes location in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
What started as a single shop soon grew into something bigger than imagined.
From One Shop to a Growing Local Brand
In just two years, Sweet Treats – Ice Cream & Milkshakes has grown from a single location into a multi-location dessert destination across North Georgia and Chattanooga.
Today, Sweet Treats is proud to operate: 🍨 Three Store Locations Fort Oglethorpe, GA Chattanooga, TN Hixson, TN 🚐 A Fully Equipped Dessert Trailer Used at festivals, schools, and neighborhood events. 🚚 A Mobile Ice Cream Truck
And next year, Sweet Treats will be operating three ice cream trucks serving even more communities.
